FAYETTE COUNTY “DEPUTY SANTA” PROGRAM DEEMED A SUCCESS

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office concluded their annual “Deputy Santa” program on Thursday, and it was deemed a big success.
Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek thanked every individual person and every business that made either a monetary donation or a toy donation to the program.
Through the “Deputy Santa” program, the Sheriff’s Office was able to help over 600 families in Fayette County to have a Merry Christmas.
The total was a big increase from the 525 families that they helped last year.
The Sheriff’s Office also recognized Lieutenant David Beyer for heading up the “Deputy Santa” program every year since Sheriff Korenek took office in 2005, and the tireless work he puts in to make it a success.
