CUBS SPLIT GAMES ON OPENING DAY OF MIKE SMITH CLASSIC
The Brenham Cub Basketball Team split their two games yesterday (Wednesday) on opening day of the Mike Smith Classic, which is being hosted by Victoria West. The Cubs got past Tuloso Midway 59-58 in the first game of the day.
However, Victoria West snapped Brenham’s eight game winning streak with a 76-60 win in their second game of the day.
The Cubs are now 16-2 on the year. They will next face Port Lavaca Calhoun this (Thursday) morning at 11:30am.
