CUB SOCCER PLAYS BELLVILLE TO A 1-1 TIE

The Brenham Cub Soccer Team played the Bellville Brahmas to a 1-1 tie in their season opener earlier today (Thursday) at Cub Stadium.

Isaac Garcia scored the Cubs lone goal off of a Chris Calix assist.

Brenham Head Coach Craig Boggan told KWHI that he felt like the Cubs controlled most of the game, but gave up a late goal to Bellville, and had to settle for the tie.

Next up, the Cubs will be going on the road to take part in the Madisonville Tournament. The tournament runs Thursday, January 4, thru Saturday, January 6.
