WASHINGTON COUNTY FAIR NOW ACCEPTING SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

  

The Washington County Fair Association is now accepting applications for their 2024 college scholarships.

These include the Washington County Fair Scholarship, the WCFA Bucket Calf Mentor Scholarship and the WCFA Champion Drive Buddy Scholarship.

To be eligible, you must be a U.S. citizen, live in Washington County, attend a Washington County school or qualifying home school, and be either a Washington County 4-H or FFA member enrolled, attending, and in good standing in a Washington County School that has a chapter chartered.

Applicants must also:

Have participated in a division of the Washington County Fair in two of the last four years.

Write a one-page essay on the impact that the Fair has had on you.

Provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher or principal.

And provide college entrance exam scores, or a copy of your transcript.

Scholarship Applications can be downloaded from their website at www.washingtoncountyfair.com.

Completed applications must be returned to Madalynn Kainer at the Washington County Fair Association Office located at 1305 East Blue Bell Road in Brenham by March 15 at 4pm.
