MLK PARADE IN BRENHAM SATURDAY
The Washington County Juneteenth Association will hold its inaugural Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade tomorrow (Saturday) in Brenham.
The parade will begin at Hattie Mae Flowers Park at 10:30 a.m., concluding with a celebration at Henderson Park featuring a short program, vendors and music.
The parade is taking place this weekend after being rescheduled from its initial date of January 15th.
Entries will start lining up at 8 a.m. and will include participants from a wide variety of community groups and organizations.
All activities are free and open to the public. Families are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets or tents.
