SIX PEOPLE ARRESTED SATURDAY

  

Six people were arrested by the Brenham Police Department Saturday.

They report that Saturday morning at 7:35, Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 1700 block of Highway 290 West. Probable cause to search the vehicle was developed through the odor of marijuana and the driver, Seth Taylor Perez, 24 of Pflugerville, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 OZ.

Then Saturday morning at 8:00, Officers to a noise complaint in the 1900 block of South Day Street. Upon investigation, the male subject identified as Xavier Alvin-Malik Taylor, 28 of Brenham, evaded on foot, but was later apprehended. Taylor was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked on an outstanding warrant: Failure to Give Notice Striking Highway Fixture or Landscaping greater than $200, and Evading Arrest with a Previous Conviction.

Then Saturday evening at 5:10, Officer Garrett Downs observed a wanted subject walking in the area of Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy and Burleson Street. The subject, Edward Wayne Daniels, 25 of Brenham, was found to have an active warrant for Deadly Conduct, Discharge of a Firearm. Daniels was then placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in for his active warrant.

Then Saturday night at 9:25, responded to the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a criminal trespass. Upon further investigation, Justin Orlando Daniels, 34 of Brenham, resisted arrest from officers and stole items from Walmart. Daniels was then transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in for Criminal Trespass, Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport, and Theft of Property between $100 and $750.

Then Saturday night at 11:55, Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation. Upon further investigation, the driver and front seat passenger who were identified as Jamarcus Moore, 22 of Brenham, and Jada Moore, 24 of Brenham, both had active warrants for their arrest. Both individuals were placed in custody and transported to the Washington County jail where they were booked in for their active warrants.
