HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED FOR RECKLESS DRIVING

A Houston man was arrested early Tuesday morning for reckless driving.
Brenham Police report that early Tuesday morning at 12:30, Officer Lauren Vieceli observed a vehicle traveling westbound at the 500 block Highway 290. The vehicle was traveling 110 mph in a 65 mph zone. A traffic stop was conducted for reckless driving and discovered the vehicle was occupied by four persons. The driver of the vehicle Jesus Adrian Gomez Lopez, 19 of Houston, was placed in custody for Reckless Driving due to driving the vehicle in a willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property. Lopez was transported to the Washington County Jail.
