BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED THURSDAY

  

A Brenham man was arrested Thursday after a traffic stop.

Brenham Police report that Thursday night at 9:45, Officer Nicolas Conforti conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Crockett Street.  The driver, Andrew Cienega Garcia, 54 of Brenham, was discovered to be operating a vehicle with no insurance and no driver’s license. Due to Cienega not having a driver’s license and operating a vehicle with no insurance he was placed under arrest. During the arrest, Cienega resisted arrest and was additionally charged with Resisting Search, Arrest or Transport.  He was booked into the Washington County Jail without further incident.
