POLICE INVESTIGATE THEFT FROM VEHICLE

  

Brenham Police are investing a theft from a vehicle Friday.

They report that Friday morning at 10:25, Officers responded to the 700 block of East Stone Street in reference to theft from a vehicle. The victim reported that an unknown person stole items from his vehicle while parked in the driveway. Information was gathered and a case report generated.

Then Friday morning at 10:50, Officers responded to a business located in the 1000 block of Nolan Street in reference to a theft. Initial investigation revealed Florence Denise Jackson, 40 of Brenham, stole numerous items from the business. Jackson was taken into custody for Theft of Property less than $2,500 with 2 or More Previous Convictions and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Friday night at 8:30, Officers responded to 900 block of Lawndale Drive in reference to a lapsed theft. Resident reported several items missing from the garage. Information was gathered and a report has been created. This incident is pending further investigation and linked to the other burglaries and thefts in the area.

Then Friday afternoon at 12:20, Officers Nicolas Conforti and Matthew Brown served a warrant in the 900 block of Hasskarl Drive. McKenny Kaylin Kelley, 24 of Brenham, was placed under arrest for the outstanding warrant; a Motion to Revoke Probation- Theft of Property between $100 and $750, and transported to the Washington County Jail.
