WASHINGTON COUNTY FARM BUREAU DONATES TO BREAD PARTNERS

  

Brenham Bread Partners received a generous donation last (Tuesday) night from the Washington County Farm Bureau.

Farm Bureau Director Linda Oberhoff presented a check for $300 to Bread Partners volunteers Ken English, and Donald and Gwen Spiess.

This was part two of the annual Food Connection event.  Previously, the Washington County Farm Bureau handed out $300 in gift cards to a local grocery store.

Farm Bureau President Larry Winkelmann said that Texas Food Connection Day is a year round effort that brings farmers and consumers together to celebrate food, and the work that goes into growing it.
