BRENHAM POLICE MAKE DWI, ASSAULT ARRESTS SUNDAY

  

Two people were arrested on Sunday by Brenham police, one for DWI and another for assault.

Brenham Police report that early Sunday morning at 1:30, Officer Garrett Downs checked out a suspicious vehicle in the 2100 block of Highway 290 East. Investigation revealed that the driver, Gregory Adcock, 41 of Onalaska, was highly intoxicated. Adcock refused the field sobriety test and was ultimately placed in custody for DWI, 2^nd offence, and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.

Then Sunday night at 10:15, Sergeant Perez responded to the 2500 block of Karen Lane in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, investigation revealed that the aggressor in the physical disturbance was Cristina Ramirez, 27 of Brenham. Ramirez was placed in custody for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
