BRENHAM, WASHINGTON CO. OFFICES TO CLOSE FOR JUNETEENTH

  

Brenham and Washington County offices will be closed on Wednesday for the Juneteenth holiday.

Brenham City Hall, Brenham Municipal Court, Brenham Animal Services and the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library will all be closed, in addition to all county offices.

The Blue Bell Aquatic Center will be open from 1 to 5 p.m.  The Brenham & Washington County Visitor Center will have regular hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station will also be open on Wednesday.  Residential and commercial trash pick-up will run on a normal schedule.

The offices of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative will be closed on Wednesday.  Members can access their account information and make payments through the co-op’s website, www.bluebonnet.coop, the co-op’s MyBluebonnet mobile app, or by calling 800-842-7708.  Power outages can be reported through the website, the mobile app, or by calling 800-949-4414.  Members enrolled in Bluebonnet’s Outage Alerts can report an outage by texting OUT to 85700.
