THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED TUESDAY
Three people were arrested Tuesday in separate incidences by Brenham Police.
They report that Tuesday evening at 6:00, Sergeant Terrence Johnson conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of North Blue Bell Road after observing a moving violation in the 400 block of South Blue Bell Road. The driver of the vehicle, Courtney Brooke Lewis, 25 of Brenham, was operating a vehicle during a period her driver’s license was under suspension. Also, she has three active traffic warrants. She was taken into custody for the warrants and Driving While License Invalid, Enhanced. Lewis was transported to the Washington County Jail for booking without incident.
Then Tuesday evening at 7:45, Officer James Catchings conducted a routine patrol at the 900 block of Hasskarl Drive, and was flagged down by a resident. Investigation revealed Billy Joe Davis, 45 of Brenham, entered a residence without consent after being told to leave. Davis was placed in custody for Criminal Trespass of a Habitation and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
Then Tuesday night at 9:35, Officer Stephen Mosley conducted a traffic stop at the 800 block of South Austin Street. The driver, Jahnicka Mashay Smith, 20 of Brenham, was found to have an active warrant for No Driver's License. Smith was taken into custody for her warrant, then transported to the Washington County Jail where she was booked in for her warrant.
