AREA ATHLETES TO COMPETE IN TGCA ALL-STAR GAMES

Multiple students-athletes from around the area have been selected to take part in the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-Star Games.

The All-Star Games are being held Tuesday and Wednesday at various locations in Arlington. The games featuring students in Class 1A-4A will be held on Tuesday night (June 25), while the games featuring students in Class 5A-6A will be held on Wednesday night (June 26).

For Softball, Bellville's Katie Falk is going to be playing for the 1A-4A Red Team on Tuesday at 7pm at the Workman Softball Complex.

Meanwhile, Chesney Davis of Lake Creek will be on the 5A-6A Blue Team, which plays on Wednesday at 7pm, also at Workman.

In Volleyball, Sydney McKay of Bellville and Sydney Nevill of Iola are going to be on the Red Team for the 1A-4A All-Star Game. The 1A-4A Game is Tuesday at 7pm at Arlington Seguin High School.

Meanwhile, Cross Country and Track will receive recognitions on both nights. On Tuesday, for 1A-4A, Chloe Ross of Columbus is being honored for Cross Country, and Miracle Montgomery of Navasota will be honored for track.

On Wednesday, for 5A-6A, Madison Black of A&M Consolidated is being recognized for Cross Country, and Layni Kaase and Ella Hawryluk of College Station High School are being honored for Track.

The Cross Country/Track presentations are each night at 8pm at Arlington Lamar High High School.

Making the Red 5A-6A All-Star Cheerleading squad was Grace Gonzalez of Magnolia High School. The cheerleading performances are each night at 8pm at Arlington Lamar High School.
