THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED ON ACTIVE WARRANTS
Three people were arrested Saturday and Sunday on active warrants.
Brenham Police report that Saturday morning at 7:30, Officer Bryan Morong located a vehicle in a parking lot of a business located in the 200 block of Highway 290 West known to be driven by a wanted subject. The subject, Cristina Ramirez, 27 of Brenham, was located and placed in custody for two active Warrants, Continuous Violence Against the Family, and for Violation Bond or Protective Order for Assault or Stalking.
Then Saturday afternoon at 4:10, Officers located a wanted subject near the intersection of Becker Drive and South Market Street. Norvell Taylor Simpson, 64 of Brenham, was placed in custody for an active Burglary of Vehicle warrant issued by Washington County Justice of the Peace Pct. 1 and transported to Washington County Jail for booking.
Then Sunday night at 8:25, Officers responded to the Washington County Jail regarding a wanted person turning themselves in. Nikki Lee Spitzer, 33 of Burton, was placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant for Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information and Forgery - Defraud or Harm of another issued by Washington County Justice of the Peace Pct. 4.
