WASHINGTON CO. EXTENSION HOSTING KIDS IN THE KITCHEN PROGRAMS
Washington County 4-H has summer food and nutrition programs for youth to participate in.
Kids in the Kitchen will be held on Wednesday, July 10th from 9 a.m. to noon at the Washington County Expo Event Center. Kids in the Kitchen: All About Beef will take place the following Wednesday, July 17th at the same time and location.
The programs will each provide educational, hands-on activities to teach food safety, preparation and nutrition. The second program will offer specific information on beef and different cuts of meat.
Children ages 8-14 are eligible to register, but space is limited to 20 participants for each program. The cost is $25 for 4-H members, $40 for non-members.
