BRENHAM GRAD JOINS UH BASEBALL COACHING STAFF
A former Brenham Cub Baseball Player will be taking a new position.
Clay Van Hook has resigned after spending the past two seasons as the head coach of UT-Arlington. He has been named as the new assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Houston Cougars.
Prior to UT-A, Van Hook spent five seasons as an assistant coach at Oklahoma, which included an appearance in the College World Series Finals.
He becomes the third Brenham connection to the U-H Coaching staff, following former Blinn coaches David Rehr and Willie Fritz.
