CUBETTES FALL TO A&M CONSOLIDATED IN FIVE SETS

The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team lost a hard fought match against first place A&M Consolidated last (Friday) night at the Brenham High School Gym. The Lady Tigers won the match 3-2.

Brenham won the first set 25-21, A&M Consolidated won the second set 25-21, and Brenham won the third set 25-23 to take a 2-1 lead. However, the Lady Tigers would come back to take the last two sets 25-17 and 15-13 to win the match.

Brenham had three players with double-doubles in the match. Aubrey Morrison tallied 15 kills and 17 digs. Lainie Bolcerek finished with 14 kills and 12 digs. Logan Hayslip led the defense with 30 digs. Brinley Benson dished out 34 assists and had 20 digs.

The Cubettes are back at home on Tuesday night when they face Bryan Rudder. First serve is at 6pm at the Brenham High School Gym.
