BURTON OPENS DISTRICT WITH THREE SET SWEEP OVER MUMFORD

The Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team opened up District 25-2A play last (Tuesday) night with a 3-0 sweep over the Mumford Lady Mustangs.

Burton won the sets 25-13, 25-23, and 25-18.

Lexi Broesche had nine kills and 12 digs. Bailey Glaesmann and Kinsey Lunbeck added seven kills each. Adison Harmel dished out 20 assists, while Paige Fritsch was right behind her with 17 assists. Reagan Roemer led the defense with 19 digs.

The Lady Panthers are now 23-14 overall, and 1-0 in district. Next up, they will travel to Hearne on Friday for a 4pm start time.
