“CLASSIC FOR KIDS” CAR SHOW HELD IN CARMINE
The Round Top-Carmine Education Foundation recently held its first "Classics for Kids" Car and Truck Show at the Carmine Hall.
Sixty-five Classic Cars and Trucks, dating from 1929 to 1999, were in attendance, as well as over a hundred spectators, who voted for their favorite entries.
Entries came from a wide area, including Orange, Bridge City, and Round Rock.
Education Foundation President and Car Show Committee Chair Ruby McCullough said that she was truly elated by the overwhelming support for the inaugural “Classics for Kids” Car and Truck Show.
She added that the event was a phenomenal success, and she couldn't be prouder of the Education Foundation, their community supporters, contestants from neighboring counties, and those who traveled for hours to make the day special.
Tony Ramirez, Pat Patrick, Craig Reagan, and Leroy Garrison of Top Floor Cars of Brenham served as judges. The two overall winners were Patrick Kirts, for his 1954 Chevy Truck, and Chuck Stanley for his 1957 Olds Sedan.
