LADY PANTHERS DOWN BRAZOS VALLEY HOME SCHOOL 3-2

The Burton Lady Panthers defeated Brazos Valley Home School 3-2 in a hard-fought match last (Tuesday) night.

Laci Broesche recorded a triple-double: 11 kills, 30 assists, and 10 digs. Lexi Broesche added a double-double: 11 kills and 15 digs. Adison Harmel also recorded a double-double with 28 assists and 12 digs.

Burton was led in kills by Kinsey Lunbeck, who finished with 17, and Aerynn Huntsman, who finished with 12. On defense, Reagan Roemer led Burton with 21 digs, and Paige Fritsch added 10 digs as well.

The Lady Panthers are now 27-14 on the season, and currently on a seven-match winning streak.

Next up, Burton returns to District play on Friday at Mumford. First serve is scheduled for 4pm.

In other District 25-2A action: Mumford swept Snook 3-0, and Somerville beat Hearne 3-0.
