HOUSTON WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER PARKS CHECK

  

A Houston woman was arrested Tuesday after a park check.

Brenham Police report that Tuesday night at 11:15, Officer Garrett Downs conducted a park check in the 900 block of North Park Street. Investigation revealed that Alexia Richard, 19 out of Houston, was in possession of Marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance. According to police, Richard was found to be in possession of a THC vape pen, which will be sent off for lab analysis and is considered a controlled substance.

Richard was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail where she was booked in for Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 oz. and possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Police say a charge for Possession of a Controlled Substance is pending, based upon the results of the lab analysis.
