BRENHAM ISD STUDENTS EARN RECOGNITION AT REGION PERFORMANCE
Brenham ISD choir students recently earned places in the Texas Music Educators Association Region 27 Choir
The performance was held at the at the Cypress Performing Arts Center.
Layla King and Sophia Dubowik earned spots in the Honor Choir, while Aldyn Jaks, Michaela Millard, and Kyle Freeman were selected for the Region Choir.
Brenham ISD also announced that Freeman will be advancing to the Pre-Area Competition in December, where he is going to get the chance to join the All-State Choir.
Choir Director Amanda Seymour said that they are incredibly proud of each of these students for their hard work and dedication. She added that not only did they get to display their talents, but they also got to show the strength of the Brenham ISD Choir program.
Region 27 includes schools from Bellville, Brenham, Cy-Fair, Harmony Public Schools, Hempstead, Navasota, Royal, Sealy, Spring Branch, and Waller.
