NAVASOTA WATER WELLS TESTING NEGATIVE FOR E. COLI ONCE AGAIN
Two water wells in the City of Navasota had to be temporarily shutdown after testing positive for E. coli bacteria.
City of Navasota Public Information Officer Taylor Hughes said that, this past Friday, samples taken from two water wells tested positive, and were immediately removed from use.
The City coordinated with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to conduct additional testing.
According to Hughes, as of Tuesday, both water wells were back to testing negative for E. coli, and are now in service once again.
