CITY, COUNTY OFFICES TO CLOSE FOR THANKSGIVING

  

Brenham and Washington County offices will close several days next week for the Thanksgiving holiday. 

Brenham City Hall and Brenham Municipal Court will close next Thursday and Friday, as will all county offices. 

Brenham Pet Adoption and Animal Services will be closed Wednesday through Friday but reopen on Saturday.  The Blue Bell Aquatic Center and the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library will be closed Thursday through Sunday.

The Brenham Washington County Visitor Center will be closed on Thursday but have regular hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.  Likewise, the Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station will be closed on Thursday and re-open Friday.

There will be no curbside trash pick-up on Thursday.  Collections for Thursday and Friday will be pushed back one day; Thursday’s pick-up will occur on Friday, and Friday’s pick-up will be on Saturday. 

The offices of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative will be closed on Thursday and Friday.  Bluebonnet members can access their account information and make payments by going to www.bluebonnet.coop, using Bluebonnet’s mobile app or calling 800-842-7708.  Power outages can be reported through the website, mobile app, calling 800-949-4414 or texting OUT to 85700 through Bluebonnet Outage Alerts.

Brenham and Burton ISD schools will be out next week.
