TWO ARRESTED BY BRENHAM POLICE ON FRIDAY

  

Brenham police reported two arrests on Friday.

Shortly after 10:15 a.m., Corporal Tina Bruno responded to a disturbance in the 900 block of Hasskarl Drive.  Investigation revealed that a physical disturbance occurred.  25-year-old Wilfred Ja Von Stuart of Houston was placed under arrest for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member, Criminal Mischief $100 - $750, Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz., and Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport.  Stuart was transported to the Washington County Jail and booked in.

Around 6:45 p.m., Corporal Alex Saenz was dispatched to the 2100 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a complaint of a subject drinking on location.  Upon arrival, the subject was located and identified as 50-year-old Paul Riley of Ohio.  Police determined that Riley was intoxicated in a public place and took him into custody for Public Intoxication.  He was booked in at the Washington County Jail.
