MUMFORD SWEEPS DOUBLEHEADER OVER BURTON

Mumford swept a basketball doubleheader over the Burton Panthers and Lady Panthers on Tuesday night at the Burton High School Gym.

In the first game, Mumford defeated the Lady Panthers 53-31. Jennifer Lopez led Burton with 11 points, while Lexi Broesche added nine points.

Then in the second game, Mumford beat the Panthers 71-30.

Burton will be back in action on Friday with a doubleheader at Somerville. The girls will play at 6:15pm, followed by the boys at 7:30pm
