BRENHAM VFW POST MAKES A PAIR OF DONATIONS
VFW Post #7104 in Brenham is giving back to the community with a pair of generous donations.
One of the donations was for $1,000 to the Melvin Reddehase Scholarship Fund through the Blinn College Foundation.
Dr. Don Voelter, and Ben Seeker (VFW Post 7104)
The scholarship was established in 1989 for full time students that have completed one semester with at least a 2.0 GPA, and must be a veteran themselves, or the child of a veteran.
VFW Post Commander Ben Seeker presented the check to Blinn College Foundation Administrative Assistant Sharon Loukanis. Also present were scholarship committee members Dr. Robert Wright, and Dr. Don Voelter.
Camp For All Staffers (VFW Post 7104)
In addition to that, Seeker and VFW Post Quartermaster Chace Krzenski made a $1,000 donation presentation to Camp For All in Burton.
Camp For All is a unique, barrier-free camp working in partnership with other non-profit organizations to enrich the lives of children and adults with challenging illnesses or special needs and their families throughout the year.
On hand for the presentation were staff members Connie Diabaj, Nathan Kalkhake, Jacy Glenn, Lexy Davis, and Kendra Davidson.
