The 13th Annual Texas Birthday Bash brought thousands of people to Navasota on Saturday to celebrate Texas independence, enjoy several live music acts, and support their community.
During the concerts, Charlie Diggs of Charlie Diggs Entertainment, the organizer for this year’s Birthday Bash at August Horst Park, was joined on stage by KTEX-106’s Cowboy Dave.

The two auctioned off three guitars commemorating the event with special wraps, graphics and autographs from performing artists. Proceeds were designated to go to the family of fallen Navasota Police Sergeant Mark Butler, as well as the Navasota Animal Shelter and the Navasota VFW.
Within five minutes, the three guitars were auctioned off for a total of $15,000.
