BRENHAM POLICE BOOK TWO IN FOR WARRANTS

  

Two people were arrested on warrants by Brenham police on Wednesday.

Around 10:30 a.m., Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 2200 block of Highway 290 East.  Following investigation, the driver, 20-year-old Omorian McKinney of Katy, was taken into custody for an active warrant out of Harris County for Failure to Stop and Render Aid for an Accident Involving Injury. 

At 2 p.m., Sgt. Ha conducted a locals check near the 200 block of Riggs Street.  Ultimately, 63-year-old Terrell Nickerson of Brenham was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 1-4 Grams, as well as an active warrant out of Washington County for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram.
