BLUEBONNET MASTER GARDENERS HOSTING KIDS KAMP IN JUNE
The Bluebonnet Master Gardener Association and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service are preparing to host their next summer Kids’ Kamp.
Activities will run June 3-5 at the Washington County Expo, with follow-up camps in Colorado County June 10-12 and in Austin County June 24-26.
Organizers say the goal of the camp is to be an educational, fun experience that builds lifelong interest in gardening, the earth and local communities.
Children will learn about worms, fungi, pollinators, and plants of the native, non-native and invasive varieties. They will also be able to create clay crafts and unique art to decorate their homes and gardens. Snacks will be provided.
Cost to attend is $35 per child. Entry is open to children ages 10-13.
The deadline to register is May 27, but space is limited. To sign up, visit https://txmg.org.
