GRIMES CO. FAIR CROWNS QUEEN; EVENTS CONTINUE THROUGH FRIDAY
Activities continue this week at the 73rd Annual Grimes County Fair.
One of the highlights of the fair thus far was the queen’s crowning on Saturday. Fair queen honors were presented to Haylee Burzynski, while Grace Benton was named first runner up and Jillian Wisnoski was recognized as second runner up.
Livestock and project judging concludes today (Wednesday). The buyer’s social and supper will take place tomorrow (Thursday) at 5:30 p.m., as well as the presentation of scholarships and awards. The premium sale will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Friday will be Senior Citizens Day and Children’s Day at the fair. The ranch hand rodeo gets underway at 6 p.m., with the freezer sale at 6:30 p.m.
