LADY PANTHERS KEEP ROLLING WITH A SWEEP OVER BVCHEA

The Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team continued their winning ways as they swept the Brazos Valley Christian Home Educators Association 3-0 last (Thursday) night at the Burton High School Gym.

Burton won the sets 25-13, 25-16, and 25-16.

Lexi Broesche and Kinsey Lunbeck led the Lady Panthers on offense with six kills each. Adison Harmel finished with 14 assists, while Laci Broesche was right behind her with 12 assists. Paige Fritsch led the defense with 11 digs.

With their latest victory, Burton has now won five in a row, and 14 out of their last 15 to improve their record to 25-7.

Next up, the Lady Panthers will host Iola on Friday. The varsity will begin things at 4pm, followed by the JV. This will be the third meeting between the two programs this season. Each team has a win over the other.
