BRENHAM PD ARRESTS HEMPSTEAD MAN ON WARRANTS
A Hempstead man was arrested on a pair of warrants by Brenham police on Thursday.

Shortly after 6:15 a.m., Officer Ramon Torres conducted a traffic stop for no license plate light.
Upon identifying the driver, 31-year-old Martin Jaime Guerra, police determined he had two active warrants out of Washington County: Violation of Promise to Appear and Driving While License Suspended Under Provisions of Driver’s License Laws.
Guerra was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked on his warrants.
