TWIN OAKS HHW HOSTING A FREE COLLECTION EVENT

  

Twin Oaks Household Hazardous Waste is holding a free collection event this coming Saturday.

Rain or sunshine, the collection is taking place at the Texas A&M University Services Building from 7am-2pm.

It is a free event that is open to all residents of the Brazos Valley.

Items being accepted include: aerosol cans, automobile fluids, batteries, computers, cooking oil, household cleaning agents, compact or fluorescent light bulbs, oil and filters, paints and thinners, chemicals, and TVs.

They are not accepting medication, household garbage, appliances/freon containing units, tires, ammunition, 55-gallon drums, sharps-needles, or business generated waste.

Entry can be made from Highway 30 at Harvey Road.

No entry is being allowed from University Drive East at Highway 60. Those traveling east on Highway 6 should take the first left after Veteran’s Park.
