BRENHAM PLANNING & ZONING TO HEAR FOUR REPLAT REQUESTS
The Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission will consider four replat requests at its meeting on Monday.
First will be an item for 3.95 acres of currently vacant property at 715 Pleasantview Avenue, consisting of Lot 1R and a common area. The previous owner platted the property with an elongated private easement in the center of the lot to serve as a proposed duplex development. The current property owners, Kishore Gawande and Anuradha Gawande, are replatting to remove the private easements and to combine Lot 1R and the common area into one lot, so that a single-family residence can be built on the property.
After that will be an item seeking to replat 0.432 acres at 500 and 506 West Alamo Street. The property owners, Colby Crouse and Katherine Cooper, recently demolished the residential structure at 506 West Alamo and seek to replat the two properties into a single lot.
Next, the commission will hear a replat request for 0.376 acres at 1000 North Park Street and 103 Emile Street. The property is developed with two single-family homes, and the property owner, William Kmiec, wishes to replat the property into two lots so that each house is on its own lot.
Lastly, commissioners will take up a request regarding 0.277 acres at 1404 South Park Street and 0.167 acres at 100 West Val Verde Street. The owners of 1404 South Park Street, Donald and Maureen Glentzer, are looking to have a larger lot, so they have purchased additional property from the adjoining property owner, Heritage Investors Real Estate, and the replat is needed to reflect the additional land area.
City staff recommends approval of all four requests.
The commission will meet Monday at 5:15 p.m. at Brenham City Hall.
