EIGHT CHARGED WITH MARIJUANA POSSESSION
Eight people were arrested Tuesday night in Brenham on marijuana possession charges.
At 10 p.m., officers with the Brenham and Blinn College Police Departments responded to a call for service in reference to a noise complaint near the 300 block of High Street.
Upon arrival, police detected an odor of marijuana emitting from a vehicle that had eight occupants. Police say a probable cause search led to the discovery of marijuana inside the vehicle.
Police report that no one claimed ownership of the marijuana, so all eight occupants were placed into custody and taken to the Washington County Jail without incident.
19-year-old Keidren Cook of Houston, 18-year-old Preston Anthony Ewing of Pearland, 18-year-old Taliyah Armonnie Harris of Pearland, 19-year-old Kameryn Howard of Hockley, 18-year-old Imani Aryanna Sha’raye Jackson of Missouri, 19-year-old Roy Jackson of Houston, 18-year-old Sari Amari Malone of Mansfield and 18-year-old Chase Tecolvey Smith of Houston were charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz.
