RT-C OPENS DISTRICT WITH AN 87-15 WIN OVER RICHARDS
The Round Top-Carmine Cubettes opened district play last (Tuesday) night with a dominating 87-15 victory over the Richards Lady Panthers.
The Cubettes doubled up Richards 16-8 in the first quarter, and then just unloaded with a 25-3 second quarter. RT-C went into the locker room at halftime with a 41-11 lead.
Round Top-Carmine would then shutout the Lady Panthers 27-0 in the third quarter, and follow that by taking the fourth quarter 19-4.
Jaylen Bage led the Cubettes with 17 points. Liliana Salinas and Halle Phoenix scored 12 points each. Bree Dooley added 10 points.
Next up, RT-C will be at the Leon Tournament, which runs Thursday-Saturday.
