BRENHAM FD CALLED OUT FOR AUTO ACCIDENT TUESDAY

The Brenham Fire Department responded to two calls on Tuesday and one early this (Wednesday) morning.

Shortly after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, units were dispatched for a transportation incident in the 200 block of Highway 290 West.  They found a single-vehicle accident with one person injured.  Firefighters helped EMS with patient care and returned to service after the vehicle was removed from the roadway.

Around 6:45 p.m., BFD personnel responded to a report of a gas smell inside a home in the 1100 block of Dixie Road.  They arrived on location to find no readings on the gas detector, and the City of Brenham Gas Department was unable to find any gas inside the home.

Close to 7 a.m. today, firefighters were called out to High Hope Care Center of Brenham, 401 East Blue Bell Road, for an alarm sounding.  They found nothing showing from the exterior of the building.  They ultimately found construction inside the building cause the alarm to go off, so they reset the alarm before clearing the scene.
