BRENHAM POLICE MAKE ARRESTS FOR ASSAULT, WARRANTS FOR THEFT & CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE POSSESSION
Brenham police reported five arrests between Saturday and Sunday.
Just past 1:15 p.m. Saturday, Officer Stephen Mosley located a person known to have active warrants in the 200 block of Riggs Street. Police say 30-year-old Fredrick Williams Jr. of Brenham had two warrants out of Washington County for Theft of Property $100 - $750 and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 4-200 Grams. Williams was taken into custody for his active warrants and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Shortly after 11:15 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 1300 block of South Jackson Street in reference to a narcotics complaint. Upon arrival, officers located the suspects leaving the scene. A traffic stop was conducted, and police say a probable cause search revealed that the occupants were in possession of marijuana. 19-year-old Michael Musquiz of Humble and 18-year-old Perry Rice of Kingwood were placed into custody for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz.
Close to 7:30 p.m., Sergeant Tiffany Anderson and Officer Mateo Guillen conducted a warrant service in the 700 block of Germania Street. 26-year-old Essence Clark of Brenham was taken into custody for a warrant out of Washington County Court at Law for False Statement to a Peace Officer, Special Investigator, Law Enforcement Employee or Corrections Officer. Clark was booked at the Washington County Jail.
Around 10:30 p.m., Sgt. Anderson and Officer Guillen were dispatched to a disturbance located in the 700 block of Medical Parkway. After further investigation, 37-year-old Cliffton Bradshaw of Giddings was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked for Assault of a Family/Household Member with Previous Conviction.
