AUSTIN MAN ARRESTED FOR DRIVING WITH INVALID LICENSE
An Austin man was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday on an invalid license charge.

The sheriff’s office reports that at 6:30 p.m., while conducting a traffic stop in the 12000 block of Highway 290 West, Corporal Albert Vasquez was almost struck by a passing vehicle.
Corporal Vasquez proceeded to stop the vehicle in the 11700 block of Highway 290 West. According to the sheriff’s office, the driver was found to have an invalid license.
49-year-old Payam Monzavi was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was charged with Driving While License Invalid.
