BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO MEET MONDAY

  

The Brenham School Board will have several items to discuss when they hold their next meeting on Monday night.

The board is scheduled to hear a report regarding the emergency purchase of HVAC equipment at Krause Elementary School.

They will also be considering the possible approval of payment to Rice and Gardner, the Program Manager for the bond project, as agreed upon in the negotiated contract.

In addition to that, the agenda includes the approval of the district’s compensation plan for the 2026-2027 school year.

The school board is also scheduled to set the 2026 proposed tax rate for Maintenance and Operations, the 2026 proposed tax rate for Interest and Sinking, and set a date and time for a public meeting to hear public comments on the 2026-2027 proposed school district budget, and the 2026 proposed tax rate.

The meeting will close with the board going into executive session in order to consult with their attorney regarding personnel matters.
