UNOCCUPIED NAVASOTA ISD SCHOOL BUS CATCHES FIRE

  

No injuries were reported after a Navasota ISD school bus caught fire this (Monday) morning.

Navasota ISD says in the early morning hours, a bus experienced a tire blowout and had to park in the Circle T parking lot so the driver could transfer to another bus to begin their route.  Following the transfer, the bus would later catch fire.

The district says the bus was unoccupied, so no students or staff were on board, and the driver is safe.

The Navasota Police and Fire Departments responded to the fire.  Its cause remains under investigation.
