BRENHAM PD MAKES ARRESTS FOR EMERGENCY PROTECTIVE ORDER VIOLATION, MOTION TO REVOKE WARRANTS, CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE POSSESSION

  

Brenham police arrested three people on Tuesday.

Michael Anthony Chalfant

Just before 11:30 a.m., Officer LeDarion Jenkins was dispatched to the 600 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a male subject reportedly violating an emergency protective order.  After further investigation, 39-year-old Michael Anthony Chalfant of Brenham was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked on a charge of Violation of Bond/Protective Order.

Close to 7:15 p.m., Officer Rosa Salinas and Officer Mason Guillen conducted a warrant service in the 2100 block of South Market Street.  Police say the wanted subject, identified as 21-year-old Gaven Lane Moffett of Brenham, had three outstanding warrants out of Washington County Court at Law for Capias-Motion to Revoke Probation – Theft of Property $100 - $750.  Moffett was transported to the Washington County Jail and booked in.

A few minutes after 8 p.m., Officer Trinten Rolling conducted a traffic stop in the 2900 block of Highway 290 East for a vehicle violation.  After further investigation, the front seat passenger, identified as 18-year-old Bonifacio Gomez of Dallas, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram.
