BRENHAM HERITAGE MUSEUM NEARING THEIR FUNDRAISING GOAL

With just over a week remaining before its third annual fall fundraiser, the Brenham Heritage Museum is closing in on its $100,000 fundraising goal for Cisterns & Secrets: A Masked Heritage Gala.

The Gala is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Ant Street Inn in downtown Brenham.

The Museum has already raised $96,000 through ticket sales and sponsorships, putting it within $4,000 of its goal.

Proceeds from the evening will support the Museum's ongoing efforts to preserve and share the history of Brenham and Washington County.

The gala will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music, gaming tables, and silent and live auctions. Black-tie attire is encouraged, with guests invited to embrace the evening's masquerade theme.

Museum Board Vice Chair and event Co-Chair Brad Tegeler said the response from the community has been tremendous, and they are incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped bring them this close to their goal.

Tegeler added, “We're now in the final days before the gala, and there is still an opportunity for others to be part of what promises to be a memorable evening. More importantly, every ticket and sponsorship helps ensure that the stories and history of Washington County continue to be preserved for future generations."

With the November 7 event approaching, the Museum is finalizing arrangements and encouraging those interested in attending to secure their tickets online at www.bhmtexas.org.
