FOUR DEAD IN MONTGOMERY CO. CRASH
Montgomery County authorities say a 68-year-old man is in custody, charged with four counts of intoxication manslaughter after his car was involved in a three-vehicle crash that left four people dead.
Prosecutors say the man in custody, Ronald Cooper, of Montgomery, also faces two counts of intoxication assault.
Montgomery County Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack says three other people were hurt in the crash Sunday afternoon on Highway 105 just west of Conroe,
Two other people were treated at a hospital and released. The third was jailed.
Authorities say all four fatalities - two adults and two children - were in one of the cars and had been properly secured. Their names have not been released.
