58 YEAR OLD BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR CRACK AND EVADING ARREST
A 58-year old Brenham man is facing numerous charges including evading arrest in a vehicle and the possession of crack cocaine after he eluded police officers Thursday morning.
Officer David Dudenhoeffer tried to stop an older model Ford pickup truck for a minor traffic violation at Leghorn and Old Mill Creek Road at 10:52 Thursday morning. The driver however, just kept going.
Officer Justin Schiller joined to slow paced pursuit as he drove out to FM 389 towards a trailer park. The driver slowed down enough for of the officers to jump into the pickup truck. That’s when he encountered a ‘very aggressive pit bull. The officer got out of the pickup truck and the driver then hit the gas and ran into a police car.
The driver, 58-year old Kenneth Lionel Roberts of Brenham was charged with possession of crack cocaine, evading arrest and detention in a vehicle, a felony, and driving while license invalid.
