WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE MAKES FELONY ARREST
Washington County Sheriff’s deputies arrest one person on a felony arrest warrant.
According to Sheriff Otto Hanak, on October 20th of this year, Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 10000 block of State Highway 105 in an attempt to execute a felony arrest warrant.
In July, deputies conducted an investigation into a report of a Burglary of a Building with the suspect being a fifty-four year old Washington County resident Clarence “Jackie Boy” Williams.
Upon arrival at a residence, Deputy Darius Smith observed Williams standing at the rear of a residence, and according to Sheriff Hanak, as Deputy Smith approached Williams to make the arrest, Williams ran from Deputy Smith who was able to arrest Williams after a foot pursuit.
Assisting Deputy Smith in the arrest was Sergeant Mike McAnally, who was slightly injured during the arrest. Deputy Smith transported Williams to the Washington County Jail with him being charged with Burglary and Evading Arrest with Previous Convictions.
Williams remains in the Washington County jail.
