FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS AND WATCHES CONTINUE FOR AREA COUNTIES

  

 The National Weather Service has issued a FLASH FLOOD WARNING is in effect for Milam County until 7:45am and Lee County until 9:15am.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Lee County through Saturday afternoon, which includes Milam, Robertson, and Leon Counties until Noon Saturday, and Brazos, Burleson, Austin, Lee, Grimes, Madison, Houston, Trinity, San Jacinto, Waller, Walker, Washington & Montgomery counties until 1pm Saturday

Morning rain and thunderstorms could cause localized areas of flooding, as well as produce strong, gusty winds in excess of 30-40mph.
