MAN ARRESTED FOR FLEEING BRENHAM P.D.

A Waco man has been charged with fleeing a police officer after a traffic stop Friday night.
Just after 10 p.m., Officer Jose Perez observed two vehicles run the stop sign at the intersection of Chappell Hill and Pecan Streets.
He conducted a traffic stop on one of the vehicles, while the driver of the second vehicle, 26-year old Clarence Edward Brooks of Waco, was told to remain on scene.
Brooks reportedly drove off and a short pursuit followed that ended at the intersection of Scott Dr. and Shady Lane.
Brooks is charged with Fleeing a police officer.
